Hey Guys!!!
I've been sucking so badly with keeping up with my posts. The last time I post was on Day 50 for my Fit Test update. I haven't had a chance to come on and post b/c I've simply been busy. Anyway- Week #8 was great. I did all my workouts and burned tons of calories. I wish I had the calories burned info- but I had it written some where and lost it somewhere in my house. LOL.
Anyway, This is my final week of Insanity..... THANKS GOODNESS!!!!!
Day 57- Max Plyo- I mean what can I really say. I pushed and jumped as high as I possibly could. I burned 1053 calories
Day 58 (today)- I had Max CC & Insane Abs and I burned 1250. I love insane abs- it's so hard- but I love the burn I get from the workouts.
So what's next for me????? I'm thinking I'll be doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid. I got to find a good one.

Day 50- Fit Test & Max Sports Conditioning (1336)
Good Night Everyone!!!
Ok, so today was a pretty good day. I was busy and I got my workout in.
I burned 1336 calories today by completing my Max Sports Conditioning workout from last week and today's . I did my fit test and here are the results........

I am very happy with my results. My husband was there pushing me every step of he way. I can't wait to see what my final fit test looks like in 2 weeks. WooHoo!!!
Now as I mentioned yesterday- I have a 3 week vacation planned in approximately 4 months. I'm super excited about this because it's going to be the first time I'm meeting a lot of my in-laws. So I have to look sexy. LOL. So my goal is to lose 40lbs. I"m determined. So now that I made up my mind- I'm going to do. By any (healthy) means necessary.
I should be caught up with my workouts tomorrow. I'll keep you all posted.

Day 41-49: Week 7 In review
Hey Guys!
It's been a while since I've last posted b/c I've had a crazy week of ups and downs.
I felt defeated because I haven't been been losing much weight during the INSANE journey. I missed a couple days, but I was able to make up most of the workouts. I was also stressing because of some personal issues- but we're not going to get into that.
So here's the week in review:

Day 43-Max Cardio- 715
Day 44 Max Interval Circuit- 1086
Day 45- Max Plyo- 820
Day 46- Max Recovery-700 (I still hate this work out)
Day 47- Max Cardio & Insane Abs- 1130
Day 48- Max Interval Sports Training....... not completed as yet.... unplanned rest day due to a busy ass Saturday

I'm planning on completing Max IST in week 8. I may do it in the morning just so I'm sure that I didn't skip any workouts.
On a better note- my husband and I recently booked our flights to travel in the summer. We'll be in the hot sun for 3 full weeks. YES!!! So of course- I'm super excited about getting fit for this vacation. I'm so excited I can barely contain myself. So now I have a goal date and a goal weight to reach.
I'm super happy that we are only 2 weeks away from completing this Insane Journey. I'll try my best to update my journey daily.

Day 40- MAX IC (1026)
Top a da Mawnin' To Ya!!!!!
Hey Guys! I just had an excellent workout. I did MIC & I burned the most calories ever in one workout. Now that's a record to be proud of. LOL.
I really enjoy this workout. I can't say I love it as yet- only b/c I can't do 1 floor switch kick. I try every round and I can barely get my body off the ground w/o feeling like I'm about to break my arms. Oh well, I'm a work in progress- so lets see what happens. By the time I get to the freaking full body drills & plank punches- I feel like a big BLOB.
Nonetheless, I pushed through and I sweat my ass off. I have one more workout before completing week 6. Woo! Hoo!!
I'm on day 3 of my cleanse and I'm doing great. I'm about to go get a shake now.
Tonight- I have Rev Abs. Until tomorrow folks.

Day 39- MAX Recovery (Insanity) & Power Intervals (RevAbs)- 698
Let's get to it....
Rev Abs was good. I got a nice burn and it was a good way to wake my ass up b/c I was feeling like a lazy ass bum this morning. So I had energy. It was like drinking 5 hour energy.
Insanity- on the other hand, was like drinking sleep medicine. I fucking HATE this work out. I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate hate hate hate hate hate hate........HHHHHAAAAAATTTTTTTTEEEEEEE this workout. It sucks so much. It's boring, boring BORING. I never thought I would say this, but this work out sucks so badly. Now typically, I hate workouts b/c I can't really do the moves- but there is nothing in this workout that I can't do. Do I have some struggles- yes- but it's just too damn slow paced for me. I did get a good burn. My arms and legs & abs did get a good workout. But I literally had to talk myself out of going on the roof and jumping the hell off b/c of this damn workout video. I'm no punk and I'll be damned to give up. So even though I wanted to break my TV and stop working out- I pushed through it. I'm officially going to hate the next 3 Thursday workouts. SMH.
Ok, now that I'm done throwing my tantrum- I burned 698 calories doing these 2 workouts.
I'm on day 2 of my cleanse and so far so good. WooHoo!!!!

Day 38- MAX CARDIO (739) & Rev Abs
WTF is wrong with Shuan T?
My entire body is hurting. I mean everything except my hair is on fire. But yet it feels so good..
There were so many moves that literally took my breathe away. The one thing that I enjoyed about this workout is that there wasn't any repeats. Just 1 minute moves and then- boom- on to the next move.
Today I completed day 1 of the shakeology cleanse and I'm feeling pretty good.
Until tomorrow folks.

Day 37- MAX PLYO (859)
This workout was HARD. I seriously had to take breaks just to avoid throwing up. I mean, everything I ate today was sitting in my chest on it's way up by the time we started the 1st circuit. I'm not going to lie- I almost missed this workout today. This morning- I woke up ready feeling all pitiful- due to some personal stuff I have going on. I tried to push it to the back of my mind and push play- that didn't work one bit. I was able to half ass my way through 20 minutes of the workout before deciding to quit.
Of course I decide to jump on the Team Beachbody message boards and facebook for some motivation. And of course I got it- but in a form that I didn't expect. Someone posted in the following
"A friend just posted this, love it!!! --- Breaking News: The Pity Train has just derailed at the intersection of Suck It Up & Move On and crashed into We All Have Problems before coming to a complete stop at Get the Hell Over It ~ enjoy the rest of your day ;)"
It was all the motivation I needed. So tonight- after watching the Biggest Loser- I got my ass up and I pushed play. I realized that if I want to drop some serious pounds by June- I really need to get my act together and avoid slipping into these pitty parties. So I'm so happy to say that I sweated a lot- I almost threw up- and I'm smiling b/c I love it.
OMG!!!! Why Oh Why have I committed myself to such pain? Why does Shaun T have so many variations of a freaking push up? Someone please help me understand.
The pogo is hard for me b/c of balance.
While I was doing the squat jumps- I felt a twinge in my back- (I didn't keep my form proper)- so I had to slow down some to avoid any severe injury.
I really like the squat push-ups even though I can't push myself back back up into the squat position. SMH- I got to work on that.
I also have to work on the POWER JACKS- I think that's what it's called- It the push up when you do a push up and then jump back on to your feet. I can't do that- so I simply do a push- up followed by an in & out move.
Power Jumps are so hard after doing all the other moves. SMH- I suffered through it- but I did it.
There were also side push ups, one-legged V push up- Push ups out my ASS. My shoulders are going to be so soar tomorrow. Anyway- Max day #3 coming up.......

I just completed MAX INTERVAL CIRCUIT. I am super stoked that I burned 960 calories in one workout. I can't even explain how happy I am.
Ok, let me get into some specifics The warm- up was super long. I mean WTF is that about. Why do we do switch kicks in a warm up????? Seriously??????? Ok, after that initial shock- we then lead into the 5 minute stretch- which felt so good to my body.
Then into the workout. We had 3 rounds that had to be done 3 times each. In the mix of all this stuff- I had to complete-
floor switch kicks (which I couldn't do if my life depended on it),
floor s-s jumps,
full body work (which included 8 runs, 4 push-up jacks &8 wide runs)
hook squats
side in ways in & outs ( pretty tough)
plank punches (Oh the pain)
And a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember at this current time- but I was sweating like a pig and my heart rate was jacked all the way up. I"m looking forward to tomorrows Max workout. Good Night folks.

Hey Guys. I had a crazy hectic weekend but I still managed to stay on target with my workouts.
Yesterday- I did CC&B on schedule. I just completed my fit test 3... here goes my results

day 33- Core Cardio & Balance- (543)

Day 32- Insanity Core Cardio & Balance + Challenge (600+)
Hey Guys!
Well I wish I could say that today was a good day, but I'd be lying. It sucked. I woke up to late this morning to get my morning workout in. Then I had to run some errands and meet with clients. By the time I came home it was around 7PM and I was completely burnt. WTF???? Why am I so tired & lethargic today....Let's see.
Could it have been the left over shrimp pasta you had for lunch? I think so
Or maybe it's the fact that you only drank 1 bottle of water today? ...... Um that could be it too.
Oh, let's not forget that you ate 2 hours AFTER you woke up...when the rule of thumb is to to eat 30 minutes- 1 hour after. And then you didn't eat again until freakin 7:30 PM. ...........
AAAAAHHHHHH Yes!!! That's it. You didn't get your AM workout, you didn't eat properly & the worst of it all- you didn't hydrate properly throughout the day. So what was the result......
I didn't want to work out when I got home- so I turned to my Team Beachbody friends on facebook for motivation. Some of my friends came through with an army of suggestion. Someone even offered to drive to my house b/c we don't live too far from each other. LOL. I was truly impressed. I got that tough- kick in the pants-love. And I also got the .. "oh, it's ok, make up for it tomorrow."
Now there is no right or wrong way to motivate someone- but I personally like it when I have folks who are literally screaming at me to get off my ass and do some work. I also hate the feeling of being left behind. I'm surrounded by warriors and I'll be damned if I'm the weakest link. Oh HELL NAW!!!!
So I got up and pressed play. Not only did I do my Insanity workout- I also did this BEAST MODE CHALLENGE. OMG- it's absolutely ridiculous- I looked like a damn fool (I know this b/c I recorded it so I can post it here and on FB- but once I saw how crazy I looked- I decided not to post.) LOL.
Here's the challenge- you should try it and push your body to another level. BTW- this girl has a rockin' body- and you'll see why when you push play. LOL

Day 31- Insanity Core Cardio & Balance /P90X-Chest & Back
Ok, so today was another great day for me. I burned 1156 calories during my P90X & Insanity workouts.
Whew! I did really good today. I even "improved" (and I use that term lightly) on the level 1 drills. Hahaha . I did awesome on the Chest & Back workout. I used 5lbs & 8lbs weights- but I still got the burn I desired. I felt my muscles working. In my head I was thinking... "thank you God- I don't have to do any push-ups today". Yes!!!
Oh yeah- I also had a challenge from some group members that I completed as well. I had to do 200 steam engines- NONSTOP. Whew!!! My sister even did it with me and she loved it.
My diet today was on point- I had Shakeology, homemade tandoori chicken w/ guyanese style fried rice (made w/ brown rice) and for a 2nd snack I had sauted eggplant ( I know weird- but it filled me up).
Now today is my Husband's birthday and we're going out to dinner. We are going to the Olive Garden. So I've done my research and decided to stick to one of the seafood options and possibly load up on salad. Now that's what I decided to do as of right now.... what I do when I get there may be completely different. But I'm sure I'll be good b/c my hubby don't play and he will keep me on track. So until tomorrow guys- let's get busy.

Day 30 Insanity Core Cardio & Balance/Day 2 Rev Abs: Fire Up You Abs (1101)
Seriously!!! For Real????
I started my day very early in the morning by shuffling back and forth to the bathroom like a very old woman with bladder issues. I have to say, last night I woke up at least 3 times to use the bathroom.
Why did I wake up this morning to aches and pains. I mean, every single muscle in my body aches. Up to this very minute. I haven't felt this way in so very long- it's crazy. I can barely raise my arm, bend over or twist in any direction without feeling every single muscle in my skin. LOL. Why does it feel so damn good???
Ok, so my day was pretty good. I was busy- but not busy enough to press play. This evening I did Fire Up Your Abs & Core Cardio & Balance. I got in an excellent burn. I did this workout without my sister because I just needed some "me" time.
So my thoughts on today's Rev Abs- it was so good. I actually enjoyed all the plank work. My abs were literally burning. My only problem is, because I drink so much water- when I do some of the moves- I can feel every ounce of water inside my stomach. It's not a good feeling when your working out super hard and you have to avoid gagging, which leads to regurgitation. So that wasn't too much fun- but 90% of the work out was great.
Core Cardio & Balance- Day 2. I pushed really hard today and I did ok. I found that doing the moving planks were a lot harder today. I think it's because I did a shit- load of Push Ups last night w/ P90X. The high knees moves is simply torture- but I like it. But my favorite move in this entire workout is 8 switchkicks/8 squat jumps. I love this move a lot. My least favorite (let's be honest- my nemesis) is the level 1 drills (or any level drill for that matter). I can only get through 3 of them before my body starts giving up on me. SMH. I know, I know.. stop whining- but I gotta let out my frustrations some where. LOL.
Ok, tomorrow is my husbands birthday. So I have to work hard tomorrow b/c we're going out for dinner. Lucky for me I have a sick schedule tomorrow- Rev Abs in the morning- followed by MyFit group challenge. In the afternoon, I have P90X & Insanity followed by a Jumping Jack challenge.
I'm going to try my absolute best to avoid bad foods- b/c I don't want all my hard work to got down the toilet. I'll keep you all updated.

Good Sweaty Evening Everyone.
Day 1: Rev Abs- Total Strength & Mercy Abs. Calories Burned: 855
Today is the beginning of my new workout and I'm feeling so good about it. LOL. So lets get down to business.
Day 1: Rev Abs- Total Strength & Mercy Abs. Calories Burned: 855
Ok, I enjoy Rev Abs. I kinda wish I did this program before I started P90x & Insanity b/c it's a lot less intense. However, what I LOVE (so far) about this program is that it focuses primarily on your ABS. Chris trains you how to breathe and work on your core- ALL THROUGH THE WORKOUT. What I HATE about this workout (so far) is the music. It's doesn't get me in the mood. LOL. So I had to play my i-Pod & play some soca & reggae- so I could get the workout juices going. :-) Mercy Abs.....Good Lord!!! It's really a killer. I mean- it's completely different from Insane Abs or even Ab Ripper X (ARX) but it works the hell out of my gut. I have to say this by far is my favorite Abs routine out of the 3 b/c I had no pains in my back. Which has been a constant problem while doing ARX & Insane Abs. So far I give Rev Abs....1.5 thumbs up (.5 subtracted for wack ass music)
Day 29: Insanity- Core Cardio & Balance + P90X- Chest & Back. Calories Burned: 1043
Today was the beginning of my Asylum challenge that I'm doing w/ my fellow My Fitclub Members and I have to say I enjoyed my work out. I even got my sister to commit to doing the workouts with me as well. Insanity was great as usual. I enjoyed the workout and got a serious burn. I mean everything was burning, my arms, legs, butt, thighs, eyes, nose & ears...... I think you get the point. I pushed really hard. I know it's a "recovery" week, but I gotta sweat in order to feel like I'm doing something.
Now, it's been almost a year since I've done P90x and OMG!! I forgot how many push-ups you do in this workout. But I'm very happy to report that I was able to do ALL of the required push-ups. The pull-ups are a different story. There are 2 reasons why I wasn't able to do any pull-ups today. 1 is that, the space we work out in is limited to 1 door way & we only have 1 pull up bar- so I let my sister use it. I did weights as a substitute and tried to replicate what the guy was doing w/ the resistance bands. I still got a pretty good burn. The 2nd reason is that- at this current time... there is no way I'm going to be pulling up a 200 + pounds. No way, No how.... At least not now. I'll definitely try and do the modification moves- but a regular pull-up... not gonna happen. LOL.
Oh yeah, I did a Jumping Jack Challenge and I completed 120- nonstop. I'm happy about that- but some of my competition can double my number. LOL. Oh well- there's always tomorrow BADD Girls.
Now I'm trying to follow my new Abs diet to eat a bunch of power foods. I did ok today on my diet- I ate healthy today but I know for sure that I didn't eat enough. There's definite room for improvement in that area.

Day 27- Plyometrics (544) .... What's Next

I forgot to post yesterday. I was a little busy. But I have to give you all an update.
MONTH 1 IS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Ok, so now that the excitement has died down- I've enjoyed my Rest Day in preparation for Recovery week. But my recovery week wouldn't really be a "rest" week b/c I've decided to do a little bit more. Now by "a little bit" I mean:
Adding Rev Abs in the AM
Insanity as schedules &
P90x on Monday, Wednesday & Friday ( I need that weight training)
I'm going to be doing this challenge w/ a couple of friends & it all starts TOMORROW. Whew!! I'm so excited to add this variety. I also purchased a couple of cookbooks and I'm ready to kick my diet into high gear too. YES!!

Day 26- Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs (944)
Whew!!! I pushed really hard today and I dug as deep as humanly possible today. Today was my last PC workout and I wanted to give it all that I could. I pushed so hard. I jumped higher- I squatted lower and I pushed harder for those extra push-ups. Whew!!! Let's not forget the freaking Abs. My musles worked so hard that my muscles were having spasms. LOL. I worked hard dammit.
Today I bought 2 new cookbooks that is supposed to help me stay on a clean eating routine. It gets hard sometimes to stay on track, but I'm going to try my absolute best to sit down and plan out what I will be eating next week. You know the saying " Failure to plan, is a plan to Fail." And I simply refuse to fail this time around. Fuck the Bullshit!!! (excuse my vulgarity). I'm gonna get rid of this weight the old fashion way: Eat Right & Work Hard. I'm at the point now, where I look at my body and I get angry w/ myself for allowing this to happen. I did this to myself and I'm pissed off about it. Why did I treat myself so fucking bad? And then I have th nerve to get sad when I can't go shopping b/c I can't find anything I like or want.
Oh hell NO!! The pity party stops today. The Browne Bombshell is ready to take charge and get her inner sexy out for the world to see. So I hope you're feeling the same way. Shake off all the old habits and lets start making some new ones.
And to all my people out there who are just looking for motivation- feel free to contact me. I'm hear to kick you in the ass- and push you in the right direction. ONLY and I mean ONLY if you're ready to make this happen.

Day 25- Cardio Recovery
I did Cardio Recovery today and it was great. Funny enough- I did my workout in the AM- but tonight I felt as if I was missing out on something. LOL.
I've decided that starting next week, I'll be adding an evening workout at least 3-4 times a week. I'm kind of on the fence about what I should do next.
Should I do P90X?
Or maybe some Rev Abs?
I'm heavily thinking about Turbo Fire.....
Damn, beachbody has too many fucking programs and I want to do them all. Please, if you have any suggestions- feel free to send them my way. I have 100lbs to lose and I got to make sure I don't get bored.
I'm about to enter Week 5 aka Recovery week. Immediately followed by Max Month and I'm so ready to have the fat melt off my body. I'm thinking I might start video blogging again- but lets see what happens.

Day 24- Plyometrics (738)
Hey Everyone.
It's been an awesome day. Plyo was great today. I worked hard. I did really well on the 2nd half of the workout. (basketball drills, level 1 drills, ski abs and in & out abs). Keep in mind that I absolutely hate this part of the workout.
I'm currently doing a challenge w/ my BADD girls club that you must eat clean and avoid the scale for 30 days. I think this is a great idea b/c I'm addicted to that scale. And if it doesn't tell me what I want- I get discouraged and I sabatoge myself. So I'm challenging you all to do the same.
EAT CLEAN & DITCH THE SCALE FOR 30 DAYS.
After my workout I ate a great salad w/ grilled chicken.
How are you guys doing? Tomorrow I have Cardio Recovery and I'm super excited to get an "easier" workout. LOL
