Day 8- Pure Cardio- Again

Hey Guys!


Today was my day 8. I was planning on making it my rest day- but I changed my mind. Instead, I decided to do Pure Cardio. I have no clue how many calories I burned today b/c I couldn't find my damn watch. SMH. Anyway, I wanted to update you all on todays progress. 


I decided to start Shakeology Cleanse today. I figured- hey WHY NOT????!!!!????


So I started my day with a nice hot cup of green tea.  I'm not really a fan of green tea, but if I have to, I will drink it.  This was immediately followed with a greenberry shakeology.  I had my greenberry blended with 16oz of water and crushed ice.  I had to but more water b/c it would taste chalky with less water. About 1.5 hours later I ate a peach. 2 hours after that I had my lunch.... Chocolate Shakeology. Followed by my snack.....Greenberry Shakeology. Finally I had my garden salad w/ 4oz of grilled spicy fish.  YUM!


To be completely honest with you. I didn't feel hungry at all today. I felt pretty good. I even got some Insanity done. 


Now usually, I'm feeling sluggish when I get home and all I want to do is grab some dinner and relax w/ my future hubby.  Today was a different story. I came home, changed my clothes and pushed play.  Now I decided to do Pure Cardio again b/c It's not too much repetition.  I knew that I could modify the moves so that I wouldn't have to exhaust myself. Now it is highly recommended to avoid doing high intensity workouts while on a Shakeology cleanse- but I was feeling good- so I  pushed play. 


Overall- Day 8 of Insanity & Day 1 of Shakeology was pretty good.

Day 7- Week 1 Complete + SHAKEOLOGY

Hey Everyone!

Day 7 is in the bag. Week 1 of Insanity is COMPLETE !!!!!emoticon It's still taking me some time to get adjusted, but someone told me that it takes 30 days to create a habit and 90 days to make it a lifestyle. I still got a ways to go.

In other news..... I got my SHAKEOLOGY. Yup! I purchased the pack w/ both chocolate and greenberry. So I decided to jump right in and start my 3-Day Shakeology Cleanse.

On today's menu....
Breakfast
1. Green Tea
2. Greenberry Shakeology w/ Ice & 20 oz of water


Snack
1. Peach 


Lunch
1. Chocolate Shakeology
2. Green Tea
 

Snack 2
Kiwi
 

Dinner
1. Large Garden Salad w/ Grilled Fish.

Don't forget... the 2 Liters of Water.


For those of you who don't know- the shakeology cleanse is 3 days in which you consume 1200 calories per day. It's difficult b/c you are only consuming 3 shakes a day & salad. When you're body is accustomed to eating the not so healthy foods.

So here's the basics:
3 Shakeology Shakes per day
2 Cups of Green Tea
1-2 pieces of fruit per day. Eat fruit between breakfast, lunch & dinner (optional)
1 Salad for dinner (can include fish or poultry)
No dairy (no soy, rice or almond milk)
Drink 2-4 liters of water per day
Low fat dressing (2 TBS only)

It is strongly advised that you don't participate in the shakeology cleanse while doing Insanity or P90X. Light- moderate exercise is acceptable. 


Side Note: I plan on continuing my Insanity, but I'll be doing everything on a lower impact- moderate pace

So if you are getting started or even if you're in a recovery week or maybe you hit a plateau- try the Shakeology cleanse.
